President Obama has proposed a new $10 tax on every barrel of oil as part of his farewell budget meant to cement his liberal legacy.

This amounts to nothing more than a gas tax on the American people, increasing the price of gas by 22 cents per gallon at the pump.

Lower gas prices have provided a huge windfall for consumers and put money back into the American people’s wallets. Now President Obama wants to take all that away.

Only President Obama would think that gas prices in this country are too low.
